Kamran Akmal’s Early life and Career in Cricket

Kamran Akmal was born on 1st of January 1985, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He started his cricket career in early age and soon became one of the most promising young talents of Pakistan Cricket.

He played his first International cricket match in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup2004. He started his ODI career in 2006 against Zimbabwe and played his first Test match in 2007 against Sri Lanka.

He played more than 120 ODIs and 34 Test matches in his cricket career. He also played a few T20 matches and was a part of the Pakistan cricket team that won 2009 ICC World T20.

He started playing for Pakistan in 2006. In 2006-07, he was the top scorer in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. In 2007-08, he was the top scorer in the Pentangular Cup. In 2009, he was the top scorer in the President’s Trophy. In 2013-14, he was the top scorer in the Pakistan Cup.

Kamran Akmal played for Sialkot Stallions in the 2017 Pakistan Super League. He was the leading run-scorer for his team, with 244 runs in 8 innings.

He also played for Lahore Qalandars in the 2017 season of the Indian Premier League. In the 10 matches he played, he scored 253 runs at an average of 25.30, with a high score of 75.
